COMMUNITY AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT (C.A.S.E.)
DAILY PROGRAM for Pre-k through Grade 6 Students
2:30   The Program receives the children (Pre K-6). They put away their book bags and coats.

3:00    The children are split into free-play groups and move into different rooms for more play space. The children may choose to play with games, toys, or puzzles. They also may choose to draw or color.

3:30    A freshly prepared snack is served by the snack chef

4:00    The children are split into 4 enrichment classes, or a group activity, or museum program.

    • Literature Enrichment with  Ms. Spalding.   This is a time when children can explore various parts of literature through reading and writing activities.
     
    • Physical Education Enrichment with Miss Carol Larkin. Miss Larkin is a certified Physical Education Teacher. She has been with C.A.S.E. for 12 years.
     
    • Math/Science Enrichment with Mrs. Marie Foley. Mrs. Foley is also a certified teacher with 22 years of teaching experience. She has been with C.A.S.E. for 8 years and has served as the C.A.S.E. program Director for 6 years.
     
    • Art Enrichment  is an art activity with Miss Diana Chapko, St. Jude's Art Teacher.
In addition to enrichment activities, the children participate in group activities such as puzzle day, big brother/big sister day, sculpture or game day.

Special days of activities include roller skating parties, watercolor painting, holiday projects, or a program presented by an outside entity such as the Scotia-Glenville Museum.

4:30-5:15 Children with homework go to the homework room with a teacher to help and guide. Children who do not have homework have playtime in the gym or outside.

5:30    Program ends. Children must be picked up no later than 5:30 P.M.
