Watervliet athletes are succeeding in the classroom as well as on the
field!
Two of Watervliet's fall athletic teams have received Scholar/Athlete
Team Awards from the
New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) for
the Fall 2007 season.
To earn the award, a certain number of athletes on each team must
average 90 or better in the classroom during a particular season.
Congrats to these students for their stellar performances both
academically and athletically!

Michael Hartkern, a former SBRCS student, is a
landscape and special event photographer. He has spent the past
ten years photographing the Capital District, Adirondacks, and anything
outdoors! After graduating from The College of St. Rose, he
began Distinctive Images in 2005. Most recently, he
handled the photography at our Annual Sports Banquet.
