Four Saint Ambrose Students Win Art Contest

The Lions Eye Bank at Albany hosted its annual poster contest - "Through Their Eyes-The Gift of Sight."  13 winners were picked from more than 500 entries collected from Catholic Schools in the Albany Diocese. The winning entries were chosen to create the 2005 Lions Eye Bank calendar.

Sr. Vivian Giulianelli, S.A., our art teacher was proud to announce that 4 winners of these winners were from our school : Maria F.  2nd, Christiana H. 4th, Ariel G. 7th, and Erika D 7th. Erika's drawing was chosen for the cover.

On Thursday, April 29, 2004, the Lions Eye Bank at Albany hosted a reception in the South Lobby of the Empire State Plaza to formally recognize the teachers and students. Assemblyman Paul Tonko presented ribbons to the 13 winners.
