NewsChannel 13 names Sister Mary Stephen Educator of the Week
December 2004 - St. Ambrose school is pleased to announce that NewsChannel 13 and Elaine Houston recently named Sister Mary Stephen an Educator of the Week. Sister Mary Stephen, a sister of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM) is a much loved kindergarten teacher at our school. This is a well deserved honor and we couldn't be prouder. Congratulations Sister Mary Stephen!
Sister Mary Stephen's teaching career spans 37 years. St. Colman's Home, St. Helen's and St. Ambrose have all benefited from her talents. Although Kindergarten is her favorite, she has taught K, 1st, 3rd and 7th graders including Music and Art to all grades.
Some of Sister's musical and artistic talents filter into everything she does. Her time and talents are something she enjoys sharing with others. Every child leaves her classroom with some of her joy and enthusiasm!
