After Care Program - General Information:
The after-school program starts promptly on the first day of school.  The program runs from 3:00 pm to 5:30pm Monday-Friday, and from 11:00am-5:30pm on half days.  The fees are $10/day and $12 for half days. All fees must be paid weekly and your account kept up-to-date.  If your account runs one week past due, your child will not be allowed in the program until it is paid in full.

The program consists of:

  • Attendance 

  • Snack  3:00-3:30 (If your child has any food allergies, please let us know. Also, if you prefer, you can bring in your own snack from home.)

  • Playtime (outside - weather permitting)

  • Homework
    The program will provide the children with a quiet time to work on their homework. Assistance with homework will also be provided. Please note that the program is not responsible for your child completing his or her homework or for correcting it.  The homework session will again be split into two groups:
       1st through 3rd grades will go to homework from 3:30-4:30;
       4th through 8th grades will go to homework from 4:00-5:00;
       Pre-K and Kindergarten will stay in the main care room.

  • Children are allowed to bring in electronic games and mp3 players to after-school. However, those items are not allowed during school hours unless mandated by their teacher.  The school and the program are not liable for loss or damage to this equipment.

The pickup time will be no later than 5:30 PM. Any parent not adhering to this time element will be charged a late fee -  (a dollar a minute). 

You can call the after school program at 596-4130 from 3pm to 5:30.

All fees are due on Monday morning before care is extended.  If you find that you are consistently picking up your child(ren) up from Aftercare by 3:30-3:45, please contact us for an adjusted fee.

A family needing the after school program occasionally - must send a note to school requesting the service and the $10.00 (or $12.00) fee must accompany the request. This service should only be used for an emergency occasion.

This after school program is for children of a family where both parents are working and tuition is paid up to date. The service will be available on all full days of school and most half-day sessions. No service is available during vacation.

The purpose of the after-school program is to provide a safe environment for your child until you are able to pick them up from school.  The children are allowed to play and relax after a long day in school.  The rules from school are still in effect. Fighting, bullying and disrespect of the counselors will not be tolerated.  Please reinforce this with your child.

There will be sign out sheet in the main care room. Your child needs to be signed out before they can leave.

Please fill out the form listing the adults who would be picking up your child. If for some reason your child is being picked up by someone not on the list, please send in a note that day and advise that adult they will be required to show identification.

Also, please fill out the sun-block form.
