Very Important Policies to follow for a successful 5th grader:
  • Attend school every day (including half days)
  • Absences, lateness, early dismissal all require a written note giving date(s) and specific reasons
  • Homework:
    About 30-60 minutes a night (Monday-Thursday)
No homework on weekends if students have been faithful during the week
    No homework on vacations
  • "I don't have a problem with wrong answers but I have a BIG problem with no answers."  All students must try their best. If it is wrong, we will fix it in class. If your child misses all or part of homework for a good reason, please send in a note and he/she will be given a reasonable time to make it up. This includes work missed because of time off outside of regular vacations.
