  • Capital Region BOCES MODEL SCHOOLS

    • A schedule of program offerings is published three times per year and on the website:www.neric.org (Click on training). All schools receives a copy. Contact Beth Cash by phone, 518-456-9286, with specific inquiries.  Registration is by postal mail or fax: 456-9287 or on the website.  These workshops take place in schools around the Capital district.  They are FREE.  Stipends of $35/day will be given during the summer.

    • Model Schools Workshops at Diocesan Schools - use the same registration form as above.

  • The second Albany Diocesan Tech Camp will take place at St. Pius x on August 14,  15, 16, 2006.  More details are available at www.rcdaschools.org/techcamp05/

  • Model Schools Workshops I have given: Design Your Own Web Page, Intro to PowerPoint, Intro to HyperStudio, Create a Web-Based Learning Activity Using "Filamentality"

  • Questar III MODEL SCHOOLS (We are not members at the present time)

Contact Jen Pasek by phone, 518-477-4077, with specific inquiries.  Registration is by postal mail or fax: 456-9287 or on the website.  These workshops will take place at the Meadows Lab in Schodack.  They are FREE.  Stipends of $35/day will be given during the summer.

  • MAST ONLINE COURSES

    • We will be offering online courses in Excel, PowerPoint and MSWord.  These courses are FREE and last 10 weeks.  They are equivalent to 30-hr professional development.  The Fall session begins Oct 7, 2002; the Spring sessions begins March 3, 2003 and the Summer session begins June 30, 2003.  Stipends will be given during the summer.  Enrollment will be limited to 5 participants per course.

  • TEACHER CENTER

    • A schedule of program offerings is published quarterly.  Every educator in the Greater Capital Region receives a copy at their school address or can be downloaded at www.teachercenter.org.  Contact the Teacher Center by phone, 518-479-4083, with specific inquiries.  Registration is by postal mail only.

  • Workshops on various topics will be offered at Woodlawn Elementary School (9am -3pm)- sub reimbursement is available

  • Videoconference Integration Training  (for schools with vc equipment) - June 29 & 30, July 1 & 2, July 8 & 9, July 12 & 13, Aug. 5 & 6, Aug. 9 & 10, Aug. 19 & 20. Third Day at the teacher's school for those who already attended 2 day Videoconference Integration Training.
